We sent out 1 year old Australian shepherd for the 3 week board and train program with Aolanis and it was such a great experience. We definitely had some apprehension about leaving our boy for so long but it was absolutely worth it. He went in struggling with reactivity and had a lot of trouble being able to relax in and out of the home. Aolanis listened to our challenges and was able to address them head on throughout the training. Aolanis taught him how to stay calm in stressful situations, our boy struggled with walking, heeling, barking, and anxiety. Aolanis helped him adapt with these challenges and conquer his fears in public. We constantly received emails and text messages with pictures and videos of all of his progress which was very reassuring. She communicated with us often and when our boy finally came home with us we got to practice all of the training and fully understand everything he learned. As soon as we got him back we noticed a huge change in his behavior when going outside with his reaction to people and other dogs. He listened to us and with the training and skills Aolanis taught him and us, he didn’t engage with the distractions and maintained his focus on us. We highly recommend Aolanis and Koru K9 they really do care about your furry friend and take so much time and effort in helping them adapt and overcome their struggles.
